A few times there has been condensation collecting in the passenger front head light. This time the condensation has damaged the headlight to where it does not work anymore.

The contact owns a 2014 Porsche Panamera. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact heard a knocking sound and the vehicle stalled. The contact was able to coast the vehicle off the road. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the camshaft adjuster central bolts from bank two failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The contact stated that while driving approximately 70 MPH, he heard a knocking sound at the hood of the vehicle and a loss of acceleration. The fault all-wheel drive system warning light illuminated, and the check engine warning light intermittently illuminated with the Auto START/STOP system deactivated. The vehicle was towed was back to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the camshaft adjuster central bolts from bank one failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 150,000.

The contact owns a 2014 Porsche Panamera. The contact stated that upon start of the vehicle, the vehicle would unintentionally roll forward without warning. The contact also stated that the gear selector lights would flash during the failure. The contact stated that upon restart of the vehicle, the vehicle would temporarily operate as needed; however, the failure would return. The contact called the manufacturer and was referred to the dealer for assistance. The dealer informed him that there were no recalls on the VIN related to the failure. Upon investigation, the contact linked the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 19V446000 (Power Train). The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 144,000.

Car engine frequently stalls while driving, usually at stop or slow speed (e.g. intersection). Electrical system remains on; turning off and on ignition will restart car and allow driving. Had problem investigated and was told it was a transmission sensor which was repaired but failed to fix problem. Re-investigation identified transmission failure due to sensor in sealed transmission required replacement.

MY 2014 PANAMERA 4 STARTED HAVING THIS ISSUE ON 10/09/2019. I PLACED THE CAR IN PARK AND FOUND THAT THE CAR WAS STILL MOVING LIKE IT WAS IN NEUTRAL. ON JUNE 21 I RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR MY 2014 PORSCHE PANAMERA, FOR A DEFECT WHICH COULD CAUSE IT TO CATCH FIRE WHILE PARKED. PORSCHE NORTH AMERICA HAS NOT YET ISSUED A FIX AND CAN PROVIDE NO FORECAST OF WHEN THE FIX WILL BE AVAILABLE. WITH SUCH A SIGNIFICANT SAFETY CONCERN, THERE SHOULD BE MORE PRESSURE ON PORSCHE TO FIX THE PROBLEM.

IF THE THE CAR IS IN A SLOPE IT WILL MOVE. I PUT MY VIN NUMBER IN YOUR SITE AND PORSCHE SITE AND IS INDICATED THAT THERE ARE NO RECALLS FOR MY CAR. MY CAR IS DOING THE PROBLEM DESCRIBED IN THE SAFETY RECALL AND IS WITHIN THE RANGE OF PANAMERAS WITH THIS ISSUE ACCORDING TO YOUR RECALL, BUT I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY MY CAR IS NOT INCLUDED. I CALLED MY LOCAL PORSCHE DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME THAT GIVEN MY VIN NUMBER HAS NOT BEEN FORMALLY RECALLED BY PORSCHE THEY CAN'T HELP ME. I WAS DRIVING UP MY DRIVEWAY SLOWLY (LESS THAN 5 MPH), PLANNING TO MAKE A 90-DEGREE LEFT TURN INTO MY GARAGE. AS I APPROACHED THE CORNER OF THE HOUSE BUT BEFORE I REACHED THE POINT WHERE I PLANNED TO TURN, THE CAR SUDDENLY SURGED FORWARD. I WAS NOT APPLYING THE ACCELERATOR. I HIT THE BRAKES AND NOTHING HAPPENED. I APPLIED THE BRAKES EVEN HARDER BUT THE CAR KEPT GOING, HIT MY GARBAGE CANS AND RAN OVER THEM, KNOCKED THE FENCE DOWN AND FINALLY STOPPED IN MY BACK YARD. I AM NOT SURE IF THE BRAKES FINALLY OVERRODE THE ACCELERATION OR IF DAMAGE TO THE UNDERSIDE OF THE CAR (DUE TO IT RUNNING OVER THE CONCRETE FENCE POST ANCHOR) CAUSED IT TO STOP. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2003-2006 Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, 2004-2010 Cayenne, 2006 Cayenne Turbo S, 2010-2016 Panamera S, Panamera 4 S, Panamera Turbo, 2011-2016 Panamera, Panamera 4, 2012-2013 Panamera Turbo S, 2013-2016 Panamera 4 GTS, 2014-2016 Panamera 4 S Executive, Panamera Turbo Executive, Panamera Turbo S G1 II, Panamera Turbo S Executive, 2013 Panamera 4 Platinum Edition, Panamera Platinum Edition, 2016 Panamera 4 Edition, Panamera Edition, Panamera Turbo S Executive Luxury Sports vehicles. The bushing that attaches the gear selector lever to the gearbox may degrade over time, causing the bushing to detach. This condition could allow the driver to move the shift lever to Park and remove the ignition key, while the transmission may not be in Park, with no warning message or audible chime.

Risk: If the vehicle is exited without the transmission being in Park and without the parking brake being applied, the vehicle may unexpectedly move, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will replace the shifter cable bushing, free of charge. Owners are instructed to use the parking brake until their vehicle is repaired. The recall began August 9, 2019. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is AKB1.

(Porsche) is recalling certain 2010-2016 Panamera 4S and Panamera S, 2011-2016 Panamera, Panamera 4 and Panamera Turbo, 2012-2016 Panamera Turbo S and Panamera S E-Hybrid, 2013-2016 Panamera GTS, 2013 Panamera Platinum Edition and Panamera 4 Platinum Edition, 2014-2016 Panamera 4S Executive, Panamera Turbo Executive and Panamera Turbo S Executive, 2015 Panamera Diesel and 2016 Panamera 4 Edition, Panamera Edition and Panamera Turbo S Exclusive Series vehicles. Water may enter the A/C blower control unit, causing an electrical short circuit.

Risk: An electrical short increases the risk of fire.

Remedy: Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the blower control unit, replacing it as necessary, free of charge. The recall began February 10, 2020. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is AKA7. Note: Porsche recommends that owners park their vehicle outdoors until the recall remedy has been performed.

Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2003-2020 Porsche Macan, Cayenne, Panamera, and Cayman S, 2001-2004 Boxster, Boxster S, 2004 Boxster 50 JAHRE SPYDER 550 vehicles. Please see the recall report for a complete list of all affected models and model years. The caps that cover the low-beam headlight horizontal adjustment screws are missing, which can allow the headlights to be improperly adjusted. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Risk: Improperly adjusted headlights may not illuminate the road properly, or cause a glare to oncoming drivers, which can increase the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect the headlights for sealing caps and install missing caps as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 28, 2022. Owners may contact Porsche's customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ANB4.
