Information, not a vehicle inspection
TireKick summarizes public federal records for research. It does not inspect individual vehicles and does not provide mechanical, legal, financial, insurance, or safety advice. Verify a specific vehicle’s condition, title, and recall status with its VIN and qualified professionals before buying or driving it.
Data limits
Complaint totals are reports, not confirmed defects, and are not adjusted for sales volume or miles driven. Recall campaigns apply at a model level; completion status is VIN-specific. EPA fuel-economy values are laboratory estimates. Source records can be incomplete, delayed, corrected, or mapped imperfectly between agencies.
Acceptable use
Do not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, submit automated traffic that harms availability, or misrepresent TireKick data as a guarantee about a particular car. Access may be limited or withdrawn to protect the service and its users.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as available without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not responsible for purchase decisions, repair costs, losses, or injuries based on use of the site. If you do not accept these terms, do not use TireKick.
