this has been on going and was intermittant but recently it is constantly occurring: while driving the radio/speakers emit and incredibly loud static/interference sound. it i so loud in fact, the speakers sound like theyre going to blow. i am unable to stop the sound, the volume button nor power button stop the sound. turning the car off then on doesnt stop it either. the sound is so loud and distracting, it is not safe. i have MANY videos of the occurrences but no photos (since you cant hear the incidents via photo). please contact me for these.

While driving the factory installed infotainment/audio system suddenly emits an extremely loud .piercing .high amplitude static sound through the speakers. It comes random and happens even if the radio is on or off. I think it is a safety hazard. Turning off the power button will not work. The loud noise continues until you turn off the ignition. This is unacceptable. Catches you off guard and distracts your driving. I have not taken it in because it is not any recalls on it. I have googled it and saw that several people are complaining about the same thing. I feel like this needs to be a recall on because Honda has been knowing about this for several years. It don't warn you that anything is going on or happening.

So the vsa/abs module on my car is malfunctioning which controls the abs system and the vehicles safety assist and my car through a code that says abs/vsa module malfunction and also I've been doing research online about it and all the forums and articles I've read says that it's a very common problem with 2007-2017 Honda Accord vehicle and I've reached out to multiple auto shops and they have told me it's a very common issue as well and that those module are not made to last due to how they are made and the costs to buy new to replace it is $2000 and can only be bought or order at a dealership and nowhere else and honestly not everyone can afford that repair cost so I feel a recall is necessary because they fail all the time due to how they are made and it affects a really important safety feature on the car

While driving the vehicle stops accelerating, it seems to have lost power and will not accelerate. It gives an error that says "CHECK CHARGE SYSTEM" The vehicle has stopped accelerating while driving, most recently on the freeway while driving the car would not accelerate and I had to navigate to the side of the road while the car lost speed, causing hazardous conditions for myself, my children that were in the vehicle, and others around me. The car has been towed multiple times because of the same issue. I have attempted to have this vehicle repaired numerous times, at this point the mechanic has said that it is an issue with the vehicle itself and has suggested to contact Honda directly. The vehicle has only been worked on by independent mechanics. The lights on the dash blink while it occurs but there doesn't seem to be any forewarning that the issue will occur. It happens at random, no specific rate of speed. The issues started happening about a year ago, I have replaced the battery multiple times and have paid for other repairs but have not resolved the issue.

Pulled off my street to go to work, and the car engine started hesitating, misfiring and losing power. I turned around and was able to get it to a safe location, but had to have it towed to the dealership. Dealership ran codes said it was a bad injector issue and quoted me $2,600 to replace all 4. My Accord just turned 9 and has had all recommended services done. This is my 4th Honda and have never had any fuel injector issues with prior cars. My car is not showing as part of the recall for this, but it should be because they are defective. If I had not turned around, a semi could have hit me as I was in an industrial area, because the car all of a sudden lost power. This is an extreme safety issue and should be recalled.

I had just started my car and when i turned my radio was on ,that has been playing music & letting my take take calls thru just fine. I then turned the audio off because I was on a phone call & didnt want it to conect to the car and all i could hear & everyone in walmart parking lot could hear was EXTREMELY loud white noise(static) . Even with the audio turned off & completely down, it was deafening.i do notice that when im on a phone call & im not using the cars assistance, it shows that my volume is muted but turned all the way up to 32!! Which is crazy, I know that would blow the speakers.but anyways I could not even pay attention to try to drive home on june 2nd when this incident occurred, so I had to sit in the blistering heat for forever it seemed trying to get it to quit, which I had to keep turning my car on & off which I didnt like doing bc i know that not good , in order to get the static to go away enough for me to get home which was barely 2 miles away..very aggrevatying & stressful, when i was currently workingand had to quit for the day.. I believe the car got too hot. I say that because barely a month after purchasing my honda accord( ive currently had car for 1 yr ), the back windshield shattered while I was at work, and it was very hot ,juwt like it was the day my speakers started screaming static at me..i hope this can be fixed. Radio has recently starting making deafening static after driving for about 15 miles. Cannot reduce the horrible noise with volume control or by changing from radio to BT or USB or any other Source option. It is EXTREMELY loud to the point where I think it will affect my hearing...not to mention extremely distracting to be trying to drive with that deafening noise. This is very dangerous!!! The component that failed is the fuel pump, which had previously been replaced under a manufacturer recall but is now failing again. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The air conditioning system on my 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid has failed due to a refrigerant leak. I have a Honda Accord Sport. My vehicle does not appear on the recall website. I am having so many issues with my vehicle lately. The following lights stay on continuously on my dashboard. The tire pressure light, ABS, tired skid traction, brake and steering wheel lights are on. I have tried everything to get these issues resolved and nothing seems to be working. I am thinking now that this could possibly be an electrical issue or sensor issue. I have replaced my batter twice, my passenger side window fell, and I had the motor replaced and it is still not working. My car stalls when I am driving, sitting still and when I turn the air conditioning on. I have had so many repairs done to this vehicle. The invoices will be attached to this as well. Radio makes a very loud static noise with in 30 minutes of driving the car. The radio is off when this noise starts from the back speakers and the noise will move all the way to the front of the car. The multifunction ADAS camera module failed due to "Internal Error" at only 9 years old. This means that critical safety systems such as automatic emergency braking/lane keep assist malfunctioned and could not assist with avoiding collisions. I took the car to the dealer and they confirmed the issue, and charged me $2000 to fix this critical safety system. I noticed that the new camera assembly has an updated part number, indicating that Honda might have been aware of this failure issue. I have also seen some forum posts online of others having this failure with their 2016-2017 Accords with Honda Sensing. Therefore I believe this should warrant a recall. When the failure first occurred upon vehicle startup a few days before I had it repaired, all these systems were disabled and there were multiple warning lamps on the gauge cluster and screen. Prior to this sudden failure, everything had been working fine as intended up until the very day it failed.

While driving, both the digital instrument cluster and the center infotainment screen will randomly freeze, become completely unresponsive, or shut off entirely. I have a 2017 Honda Accord Sport. According to the recall, the low pressure fuel pump has a faulty impeller. My low pressure, in tank, fuel pump failed. The failed pump caused the high pressure fuel pump to fail. DTC code P00087, low fuel pressure recorded. Symptoms included loss of motive power above 2000 rpm, hard starts, and engine light. According to Service Bulletin 24-072 all 2013-2017 Accords are affected. However, check VIN for my Accord, which has the exact symptoms, was not included in the recall. I opened a Case with Honda (#16134549) for review. Honda denied that this vehicle was part of the recall and they will not assist with the repair. Come on Honda do the right thing!

The car will suddenly have a high-pitched screaming coming from the speakers for no apparent reason with no way to stop the noise. Turning the sound system to zero volume or even turning the power to the radio off does not stop the noise. I have measured the decibel level between 80 -128 decibels with no way to make it stop. I have had to stop the vehicle on the freeway multiple times and turn off the car engine for 15-20 minutes to make it stop. I have recorded the sounds if anyone is interested in hearing them I tried to upload a file but it wouldn't let me an Mp4 file. Honda swears they have never received this complaint before but my google search shows this is a known problem that costs between 2K - 4K to fix. This is a hazard and needs to be recalled. Please help. I paid 35K for this vehicle. I've been dealing with this issue for over 4 years. and I believe my hearing is becoming impaired because of this issue.

There wasn’t an accident. My ABS module has went out. Which has the traction control light, break light, power steering light, tire light, and ABS light all on, on my dash. After a lot of research it is a known issue in models from 2008-2017 so I feel like there should be a recall on this before something happens. I was driving down the hwy going about 50 when I seen a car pull out of a side road. I had to slam on break and my traction control didn’t work at all. I slid all over the road. Speakers produce full volume static, this loud static sound is unavoidable, it occurs randomly when the car is on and when the audio is on, but once it starts making static sounds, it won't stop. Source input also does not matter. Some observations I have made are that: •It is extremely cold in New Jersey and after the heater is on high for a while and when the car is warmed up it starts to make these unavoidable static sounds. •When the audio is turned off sometimes the static goes away but sometimes it stays even when the audio is turned off. •Once it starts making static sounds, even turning off the car and turning it back on with the audio off doesn't make the static sounds go away. Only when the car is off for a while and it gets cold again, it stops the static sounds. It is extremely cold in New Jersey around this time of the year, and it is impossible to drive without the heater. Once the loud static sounds start, it won't stop and it creates distractions while driving, almost causing me to get into an accident. Lots of people with the same car are having this issue and lots of reddit users are also reporting this issue and most of the people with this issue seem to have some mention of heat causing it or it occurs on hot days. Dealership is not helping either and they can't figure out the cause of the problem. They are suggesting changing the car audio (Head Unit) at customer's expense. A lot of people on reddit reporting the issue mentioned submitting a complaint to the NHTSA, I see there are already some complaints regarding the loud static sounds on here. I purchased 4 new tires from Braman Honda on 2/2023. I drive the car daily but I also have a take home vehicle for work. On 12/4/25 and 12/5 my son, who is on military leave took the car from Boynton beach to Miami for an appointment. when he returned, he showed me a picture of the dash showing the low tire pressure light on. Up until now, there was no warning of any issues with the tires. I thought that there may be a nail in the tire but to my shock, the front driver side tire was missing chunks. The following week I had the car towed from my house to Braman Honda. My service advisor called to inform me that all 4 tires had tears and cracks in the sidewalls and must be replaced. Me and/or my son could have been hurt or killed while driving the car with the tires in this condition. My car is only serviced at Honda and I keep up with all tire rotations. On 2/21/25 a multi point vehicle inspection was performed and I declined the multi point inspection and tire rotation on 6/14/25 due to a time crunch. The warranty expired after 2 years so I had to finance 4 new tires. BF Goodrich will only file a claim if you replace with their tire brand. I do not trust their brand and even although they supplied the batch of dry rotted tires which was installed on my car, Honda nor BF Goodrich will help with the cost. I've read many similar cases like mine about these tires. BFGoodrich claims that the cracks are due to road hazards.

Vehicle: 2017 Honda Accord EX Mileage at incident: Approx 30,000 Date of incident: Dec 10, 2025 Description of problem: While my daughter was driving our 2017 Honda Accord EX, the Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS) suddenly activated without warning. The car slammed on the brakes even though there was no obstacle in front of her. This caused the vehicle to skid, but fortunately there was no collision or injury. There were no diagnostic codes found when inspected by an independent auto shop. The shop advised us to temporarily disable the CMBS system. This appears to be part of the ongoing issue of phantom braking in Honda vehicles, which has been reported by many owners and is currently under NHTSA investigation. I am concerned about the safety risk, especially since my daughter drives this car regularly. Safety concern: Unexpected braking at highway or city speeds could easily cause a rear-end collision or loss of control. I request that NHTSA investigate this incident and ensure Honda provides a permanent fix or recall.

This is an ongoing problem - -- On startup, the vehicle reports 4 system warnings that shut off the cruise control and ABS brakes as well as the other safety systems. This is an intermittent problem. -- The dealer states that the camera is dead and wants $2,500 to replace and calibrate it. This is a common response from dealers I see in all the forums. -- I have found a work-around that is not documented in forums yet. -- If we keep our foot on the brake until after the electronics start sequence finishes, no errors EVERY TIME -- If we take our foot off the brake when the car starts, but before the electronics finish, we get errors every time. This is a dangerous, high-frequency, extremely expensive problem if we follow the dealers suggestions. I do not know what the root cause is, but I know it is not a $2,500 problem. And, I am very concerned about the people driving without the safety features due to the excessive and unnecessary cost.

This 2017 Honda Accord has recently been making very loud static noises from the speakers. It gets so loud and the only way to turn it off is to turn off the engine and restart. The static noise always comes back though, so this is clearly a safety issue. On youtube, there are many people saying this same issue. When I purchased my car from AutoNation Honda Clearwater, I immediately faced several issues. The first problem was with the TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System). As soon as the error appeared, I contacted the dealership. They informed me that it was covered under warranty and that I could visit any Honda service center to have it fixed. However, when I went to another authorized Honda service center, they refused to perform the repair, even though TPMS is a legally required safety system. In addition, I had reported the following issues to the dealership soon after purchase: 1. The driver’s seat is torn. 2. The passenger power seat is not functioning. 3. The air conditioning system makes a “burping” noise. Most importantly, the dealership failed to provide a lug nut key at the time of delivery. This became a serious issue when I had a flat tire during travel. When roadside assistance arrived, they informed me that the car required a special lug nut key that should have been provided by the dealer. Because of this missing item, the car had to be towed, which cost me $700. When I contacted AutoNation Honda Clearwater about this, they claimed they did not have my original key and later sent me a replacement key that did not fit. Their response was unhelpful and dismissive. I believe this situation reflects negligence and poor customer service from the dealership. I am requesting appropriate action and compensation for the towing expense and the unresolved issues that should have been addressed under warranty.

Car radio, and the upper screen on top of the car radio restarts at random times either when using it or not using it, CarPlay restart the radio as well the upper screen random times when it restarts as well as the radio will not show you current drive trip or fuel amount. It goes in and out and restarts. The whole system went to the dealership many times and they say they see nothing wrong. I’ve looked up online to see if I can find a way or see if any other people are having an issue and from what I looked up there are a lot of people with 2016s 2017 with the same issue. I am occurring this issue has been going on for years since I brought the car. I brought the car brand new out of the dealership. I’m taking it many times to the Dealership service department and no one is able to assist me to correct the issue. I have also showed the service department video proof of the issue please I would appreciate if you guys could assist in this issue, whether if these radios of my car and many other peoples vehicles have to be replaced or God forbid there’s a loose wire in the back and this car has a really electrical problem and my car catch a fire. God forbid. But this issue has been going on for a while that for example I could be listening to music loud radio cancels out and then it will just come back on scaring me because it was locked as well as putting up and down the volume won’t work because the system freezes and it restarts itself and all this is while I’m physically driving can’t use navigation can’t use hands-free in my car due to this issue I also have video, but I’m not able to upload the video. It only allows me to upload photos. The photo that was uploaded is how my car screen looks now with no screen at all and as I’m speaking to you right now, the car is literally resetting itself again for the fifth time today even when the car radio and screen, reset there are still a major live in the system

When sun is in front of car and low in the sky, windshield looks as if it is covered with dirt, to the point that I cannot see through it. I want to get it replaced asap, so it may or may not be available for inspection. When this happens, I cannot see anything in front of me: cars, people, the road. No. Yes, by a Honda dealer.

While pulling into a parking spot my car unexpectedly accelerated. Brakes were unresponsive even after placing both feet on the brake pedal. Vehicle stopped only after I hit a tree. Engine continued to rev at which point I placed the vehicle in park and shut off the engine. Although the impact of the crash was severe my 1airbag did not deploy.

While driving and pressing gas car would not accelerate and just cut off in road. Vehicle had plenty of gas and no warning light or indications appeared on dash, but car sputtered and slowed quickly to a complete stop while pressing accelerator, then the engine cut off as of it were out of gas.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2016-2018 Acura MDX, 2015-2019 Acura TLX and 2015-2017 Honda Accord vehicles, equipped with a 3.5L V6 engine. Particulates in fuel may adhere to the internal components of the fuel pump, reducing its performance.

Risk: Reduced fuel pump performance can result in an engine stall, increasing the risk of crash.

Remedy: Honda will notify owners, and dealers will update the fuel injection engine control unit (FI-ECU) software and, if necessary, replace the fuel pump, free of charge. The recall began March 25, 2019. Owners may contact customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Acura's recall number for this recall is P3W. Honda's recall number for this recall is N3X.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2013-2023 Honda Accord, Civic Coupe, Civic Sedan, Civic Hatchback, Civic Type R, CR-V, HR-V, Ridgeline, Odyssey, Acura ILX, MDX, MDX Hybrid, RDX, RLX, TLX, 2019-2022 Honda Insight, Passport, 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid, 2018-2019 Honda Clarity PHEV, Fit, and 2015-2020 Honda Accord Hybrid, Pilot, Acura NSX vehicles. The fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.

Risk: Fuel pump failure can cause an engine stall while driving, increasing the risk of a crash.

The front passenger seat weight sensor may crack and short circuit, which can cause the air bags to deploy unintentionally during a crash.
