Per my phone call today(2026/05/13)to [XXX] @ [XXX] (PhoneReference #XXX): I have written an explanation which is too lengthy to fit herein. I shall email it to [XXX] AFTER filing this form and receiving a Written Form Reference #. I shall supply the Written Form Reference # in the email. Summary of 5 above specific requests: 1. Car did not accelerate, engine semi-stalled (although did not stop running completely). Could be engine, transmission, electrical, cruise-control, other, or some combination of two or more of the foregoing. Dealer may still have the car, or it may have been sold/disposed-of to a party unknown to me. 2. Fortunately, since I did NOT test pulling out into traffic, and waited till highway was mostly clear prior to testing acceleration, no one was at risk. However, the problem is that there ARE instances where risk of serious-injury/death is real. 3. No. Salesperson later reported that Dealer felt that there was no problem. I opened a case with Ford and was instructed to continue waiting, but no repair has been completed and no meaningful resolution has been provided. Because this is a safety recall, 1 am concerned that the remedy has not been made available within a reasonable period of time. In addition to the safety concern, this ongoing delay has caused financial hardship. I use this vehicle for Turo rentals and have been unable to continue renting it out due to the open recall, which has negatively affected my income and safety. Around 50,000 miles I noticed the car would jerk when trying to shift gears , this issue persisted and would only go on to get worse. The transmission does not shift properly.\n And causes it to overheat, this has been a known problem with Ford motor company. I have called and can get no help with them. The repair cost way more than my vehicle is worth. I can't find a transmission company to even do it. There have been buybacks and extended warranties for this very issue. However, my car has more miles. Than the extended more, she allows and Had I had known about this before the end of June of last year. They would have covered it, and I think this is unfair. I'm a [XXX] veteran that's disabled, and as far as the back up camera, it's been out Within a year of me purchasing the car and I have trouble with my neck and I needed the backup camera that's one of the reasons I bought the car and now they have waited so long that the transmission is having issues. And if I can't get that help, then they will waited until it won't even be necessary to work on the backup camera they've outlasted the car. This is the 2nd email I sent and haven't gotten any response yet. My rear view camera is getting worse and distorted. Very hard to see out of it, especially at night. Brakes started seizing up while driving. Became extremely dangerous as the car would rock at speed and also would not start moving if I came to a stop. Went immediately to a shop, when I arrived into the shop, inspection found that the caliper was locked onto the wheel preventing the front wheel from moving. Had the caliper replaced but the caliper was still seizing, and then had to get the ABS Hydraulic Assembly, P/N D2BZ 2C405-E replaced. This P/N seem to be causing a lot of troubles from online forums. This issue had no warming lamps, messages or anything indicating this other than a feel that the car is accelerating more slowly. However, when the brakes started seizing, the situation felt extremely dangerous.

I own a 2019 Ford Fiesta. The backup camera frequently malfunctions by either displaying a black screen, freezing, or glitching with distorted visuals. This issue occurs more often than not when the vehicle is put into reverse. I’ve confirmed that my vehicle is not included in NHTSA Recall Number 22V082000, but the symptoms match exactly. This creates a clear safety concern, especially in school zones, parking lots, and other areas where visibility behind the vehicle is critical. I believe my vehicle should be included in the existing recall or a new investigation should be opened for additional affected vehicles outside of the current VIN range.

•Make: Ford •Model: Fiesta ST •Model Year: 2019 •Engine: 1.6L EcoBoost •Mileage at Incident: 95000 Component Affected: Engine / Cooling System Summary of Problem: Coolant is leaking into the combustion chamber of my 1.6L EcoBoost engine due to a suspected internal engine defect. This issue caused noticeable white smoke from the exhaust, engine misfires, and a loss of power while driving. The coolant loss was not visible externally, indicating internal leakage. After diagnostic testing at a Ford dealership, I was informed the engine block or cylinder head is compromised, allowing coolant intrusion into the cylinders. The dealer quoted approximately $12,000 for a full engine replacement and confirmed that this is a known issue with Ford EcoBoost engines. Safety Concerns: The vehicle became unreliable and unsafe to drive, especially at highway speeds, due to the misfiring and sudden power loss. If this failure had occurred during certain driving conditions, it could have led to an accident. Furthermore, the cost of repair is unreasonably high for a systemic engine defect not caused by consumer neglect. Request for Investigation: This appears to be part of a broader, well-documented problem with various EcoBoost engines across Ford’s lineup ( TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN 19-2346 2.0L EcoBoost - Coolant In Cylinders, White Exhaust Smoke And/Or Illuminated MIL). I am submitting this complaint in hopes that NHTSA will investigate the safety implications of this engine defect and push for accountability from Ford through recalls or reimbursement programs.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2019 Fiesta vehicles. The brake calipers may have been manufactured with the incorrect assembly fluid, which can cause the caliper's rubber seals to swell.

Risk: The swollen seals can cause the brakes to drag, potentially overheating the brakes and increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will flush the brake fluid and replace the front brake calipers and brake hoses, free of charge. The recall began October 10, 2019. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 19S27.
