Rear toe links have a lot of slack resulting in rear drifting on uneven/slippery ground. This results in poor handling and fishtailing making it significantly harder to maintain control of the vehicle. Extreme caution required during slippery road conditions as the car will start to fishtail on it's own and requires constant corrective steering.

This 2018 Ford Taurus had a water pump fail. This vehicle has a water pump inside the engine instead of attached to the outside of the engine like usual. When it fails, coolant fluid gets inside of the engine and ruins it. Normally, when a water pump fails, coolant would leak but not inside of the engine. This is a design flaw. This 2018 Taurus was bought new and maintained with excellence at Ford dealerships. This is a loss of worth of $6000 to me. The dealership states it would cost $10000 to replace the engine so it is not worth fixing. We will be getting rid of it so there will be nothing available for inspection especially since you would have to take the engine apart to get at it. Safety was not a concern. I am reporting this to you at the suggestion of Ford Customer Relations. Interestingly, today the service advisor at the dealership said he had 2 other Tauruses at the dealership at this same time with the same water pump failure/engine destruction. It seems unlikely that this is a coincidence. There should be a recall so that others do not suffer. A warning light did come on. AAA was called and the vehicle was towed to the dealership.

ENGINE STUMBLES ON LIGHT ACCELERATION LIKE IT IS STARVING FOR FUEL. I HIT THE GAS, THE ENGINE STARTS TO RESPOND, THEN STUMBLES. DOESN'T NATTER IF THE ENGINE IS HOT OR COLD. I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE WITH MY 2018 F-150. DEALER CAN'T FIND ANYTHING, AS IT DOESN'T PRODUCE A FAULT CODE AND IT DOESN'T ACT UP WHEN THEY TEST IT.

EVERY TIME I TURN ON THE CAR, IT MAKES AN INTERMITTENT ELECTRICAL HUMMING/BUZZING SOUND. THE CAR MAKES THE SOUND WHETHER ITS SITTING IN IDLE OR WHEN IM DRIVING. IT IS COMING FROM THE REAR OF THE CAR AND SOMETIMES SOUNDS LIKE A STATIC IN/OUT BUZZING/HUMMING SOUND. IVE HAD A COUPLE OF MECHANICS LISTEN TO IT AND THEY SAID ITS COMING FROM UNDERNEATH. ONE MECHANIC TOLD ME ITS SOMETHING WITH THE ELECTRICAL POWER STEERING AND NOTHING CAN BE DONE. YOU HEAR THE SOUND MORE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BACK SEAT ON THE FLOOR. IT IS AGGRAVATING. THIS IS A BRAND NEW CAR AND I KNOW THIS IS NOT NORMAL. I AM TAKING IT TO FORD TODAY B/C I KNOW THIS HAS TO BE A FACTORY DEFECT......A CAR SHOULD NOT BE HUMMING/BUZZING AND SOUNDING LIKE A STATIC NOISE.............THAT IS NOT NORMAL...IT'S A BRAND NEW CAR!
