I noticed paint peeling several years ago. It has progressively gotten worse. It is peeling in more places than can easily be repaired. A quick internet search indicates there is a class action lawsuit for this very problem. My vehicle is the affected white color. This significantly reduces the value of my low mileage vehicle.

I was coming to a stop at a curb and was braking to reduce speed and stop. With my foot in the brake the car began accelerating and lunged forward. I quickly pulled my foot off the brake and pressed the brake again and this time it stopped. This is the second time this has happened in this car. This behavior is extremely unsafe and makes me reluctant to drive the car again. Had someone or something been in my direct path I would have certainly hit it. I have not been able to reproduce the issue and it has not been inspected by a mechanic at this point. There were no warning lights, sensors, or sounds.

The paint started peeling off of my car slowly in small sections down both sides of my hatchback rear window over 2 years ago I took it into my local Honda dealership last year and was told there was no recall even though I find evidence to the contrary online. Many other white pearl colored Honda owners are having the same issue. I was told there may be a factory warranty extension, but when I called to inquire, I was told my car was not part of that extension. Subsequently two years later, the paint is now peeled, completely off the entire surround of the back glass along with a 6 x 7“ patch Across the bottom of hatch door on right hand side of release handle. Also with a bubbling up of double that size, seemingly ready to start peeling.

I have a 2015 Honda Accord Crosstour, that was purchased in June 2022and since November 2022 , every few attempts, the car fails to start and, at times, grinds. This is a known problem under Honda Service Bulletin 16-002. I expect for the problem to be fixed and it has not. The starter was replaced, and it is still doing it. There is a second part to attempt to fix the problem, but Honda will not do it. Unfortunately, Honda has not been forced to address this problem and make customers whole fully. I have been stranded several times with two young children waiting for the car to start. Sometimes it starts, and sometimes it doesn't. As an owner of 3 Hondas, I will never buy another Honda again. I feel duped and defrauded.

APRIL 24TH I NOTICED THE PAINT BUBBLING UP ON THE ROOF OF THE CAR. CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP ABOUT THE PROBLEMS AND THEY AGREED TO PAINT THE AFFECTED AREA UNDER A " IN GOOD FAITH " WHERE THEY PAID 70% AND WE PAID 30%. A MONTH OR SO AFTER THE CAR WAS RETURNED I FOUND A WHOLE SHEET OF PAINT COMING OFF THE HATCHBACK. AGAIN THEY AGREED TO A IN GOOD FAITH REPAIR. I JUST WAS NOTIFIED THAT THE ISSUES WERE EXTENDED TO OTHER AREAS. AT THIS TIME THE BILL IS $1700 THIS TIME AND $600 FOR THE PREVIOUS TIME. THE WHOLE CAR IS STILL NOT GOING TO BE COMPLETELY PAINTED. THIS IS THE SAME PAINT WAS ON OTHER HONDA MODELS WHICH WERE GIVEN A EXTENDED PAINT WARRANTY. IT IS A WHITE PEARL. MY FEELING IS THAT THIS WAS THE LAST YEAR THAT THIS MODEL WAS PRODUCED AND THAT IS WHY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY WAS NOT GIVEN TO OUR VEHICLE.

Vehicle Speed ControlNov 2015 · ODI 10794420Details +

WHEN PRESSING THE THROTTLE DURING LOW SPEEDS, THE CAR HESITATES WITH NO CHANGE TO RPM AND NO RESPONSE FROM THE ENGINE TO PRODUCE POWER TO INCREASE VEHICLE SPEED. IN ORDER TO OVERCOME THE HESITATION, I HAVE TO FULLY DISENGAGE MY RIGHT FOOT FROM THE THROTTLE AND PRESS THE THROTTLE AGAIN IN ORDER FOR THE ENGINE TO RESPOND TO MY COMMAND AND PROVIDE POWER. THIS SOLUTION DOES NOT ALWAYS RECTIFY THE PROBLEM TO WHERE SOMETIMES I JUST WAIT FOR THE CAR TO PICK UP ON MY COMMAND TO INCREASE SPEED. THIS OCCURS MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY SINCE I PURCHASED THE CAR NEW IN NOVEMBER OF 2015. THIS FAULT INTRODUCE A SAFETY CONDITION WHILE DRIVING. ONE EXAMPLE: 1) AT STOP LIGHTS WHEN GIVEN THE GREEN LIGHT, THE CAR RESPONDS NORMAL AND PRODUCES POWER, BUT SECONDS LATER THE VEHICLE POWER IS NON-EXIST (AS DESCRIBED ABOVE) AND THE DRIVERS BEHIND ME ALMOST HIT THE REAR OF MY VEHICLE SINCE THEY WOULD NOT EXPECT MY VEHICLE TO HAVE SUCH ABRUPT LOSS IN SPEED. ALSO, KEEP IN MIND THAT I HAVE NO INTENTION OF USING MY BRAKES SINCE THERE IS NO NEED FOR ME TO APPLY MY BRAKES SO THE TAILING DRIVERS WOULD NOT GET THE IDEA TO SLOW DOWN AS THEY DO NOT SEE MY BRAKE LIGHTS
