“Steering wheel locked up while vehicle was in motion (moving). Yes. Steering noise coming from steering column. Lost control of steering while driving, drove into oncoming traffic. I was injuried while trying to get my vehicle in control. Yes, grease was but onto the steering boot by the dealer and charged. The steering wheel stiffens from time to time. After my accident with the my vehicle the dealer charged me to grease the steering boot, problem is still present. Loud noise coming from steering column began around 25,000.”

DESPITE THE ACCIDENT, THE VEHICLE WAS ABLE TO BE DRIVEN BACK TO THE DAUGHTER'S HOME. HER INSURANCE THEN TOWED THE VEHICLE TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC WHERE THE VEHICLE WAS DEEMED UNREPAIRABLE AND WAS DESTROYED. THE DEALER NOR THE MANUFACTURER HAD YET TO BE NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE.
